Having Keyboard Capability to Enter Start and End Time

When we enter dates or birthdays etc we can just enter the numbers but when we enter times we have to take our hands off the keyboard to use the mouse to select start and end times. Would love to be able to just enter 1245p and have it translate to 12:45 pm
