Allows branch to have more information on which to base the decision to approve or reject a punch edit. If the caregiver is at the client's home when they clock out, why are they requesting a punch edit to deduct from their time worked? Is it because they're under the impression they have to stick to the scheduled duration and if they have to work over, they cannot be paid for it? There's no other explanation for caregivers editing a few minutes off every punch, resulting in the visit time exactly matching the schedule time. Branches can reject the edit request and educate the caregiver.
Idea Background
I see many, many instances of caregivers reducing their worked time by changing their punches in order to stick to their exact scheduled times. Giving our employees the impression that they have to work off the clock if the services take longer than scheduled is illegal. |

Idea Benefit
Branch users can see if the employee's departure time should be reduced based upon whether the caregiver was still with the client when they clocked out. If the caregiver is changing their departure time based upon faulty information that they're required to work off the clock, this information will prompt the CSM to have the conversation with the employee to clear up the misunderstanding. |
