OPEN SHIFT/

OPEN shifts caregivers need the address to map and see how close they are to be able to accept the shift, Once the shift is accepted by the caregiver they should be given the Care Plan/AOD and the visit should attach to the caregiver automatically so the CSS/CSM will be able to add the Caregiver to the appropriate payor source . This will help for after hours and non business days.

Idea Background

Caregivers are calling in during business hours saying they tried taking an open shift but was unable to see anything to know who or where to go due to being after hours .

Idea Benefit

The caregiver would be able to pick up more shifts when available.

The client would get hours served.

    When reviewing open shifts a map of the approximate area of the visit is displayed to the DCS to evaluate the shift. Per the Compliance/quality team we cannot display the full address of a potential client to a DCS for privacy/HIPAA reasons until the DCS is staffed on the shift by the office.
