Point of Care Ideas

If we could send a digital care plan weather through dropping file or uploading attached document file to DCS message center (Individual DCS Messages) then we could send care plans through the system in emergency situations such as a call out on a bed bound client and so fourth. It would be secured as they could only access it though our secured app. We don't have this function and I feel across the board it would be positive as it would help us to get care plans to the aide and still protect HIPPA but also allow us to provide care and coverage more efficiently making it less stressful for the team trying to cover the client and the aide having to come all the way in to get a care plan to go to the client. Wouldn't take the place of paper care plan as I know they will still need that. Just a temporary solution for faster service and coverage and then they could come get paper copy.

The Benefit is what every one wants, More time efficient. Better service for our clients, Even in the call out kind of situations it would make it less stressful covering the clients as sending care plans digitally would save a lot of time. Makes coverage faster and in turn were serving more hours.
